Pablo Picasso Artwork

We have acquired a few new beautiful original Pablo Picasso lithographs, linocuts & etchings. One of the new etching and aquatints is displayed in the Pablo Picasso section and is titled "Harlequin" and was published in 1960 by Crommelynck. It is hand signed by Pablo Picasso and measures 25" x 19" unframed. This is listed for sale at $12,000. The colors achieved by using the aquatint and etching process are quite vibrant. Pablo Picasso did not used this process very often, thus making this an unusual color etching with aquatint.

Pablo Picasso's only 24 color Lithograph ever made and published in 1962 is for sale for $1900 beautifully framed. It is also known as Le Picador II and is for sale at $1600 unframed as well. Another recent aquisition published by Vaullauris in 1957, which we just finished custom framing is a very colorful Pablo Picasso Linocut from the edition of 198 signed and numbered in red crayon by Pablo Picasso for $6,000 framed. We also have the suite of Marc Chagall Lithographs from "Drawings for the Bible" which were published in 1960 by Verve. The lithographs from this suite are quite colorful and well drawn. For the Drawings for the Bible, there is an edition of 50 signed and numbered lithographs as well as approximately 6500 unsigned and unnumbered impressions published by Verve. We have a few of the the origianl lithographs signed and unsigned available to purchase.

Marc Chagall made the Drawings for the Bible lithographs after the success of his 1956 collaboration with french publisher Antoine Teriade on the portfolio of color lithographs to commemorate the publication of Chagall's long delayed set of etchings for the Bible. The two of them agreed to publish another issue of Verve highlighting Chagall's Bible. Meyer Shapiro has called Chagall one of the greatest religious artists of all time, and these Marc Chagall lithographs show why: powerful drawing, intense colors, and, most of all, compassion for the characters.

Marc Chagall Posters, Lithographs & Etchings

Newly arrived Marc Chagall Lithographs. We just acquired seven new signed Marc Chagall signed Posters that are very colorful Charles Sorlier lithographs after various Chagall exhibitions. One in particular is called "The Champs Elysses" published by Maeght in 1954 and signed by Marc Chagall. This is a small edition of 950 and measures 28" x 19" unframed. Joan Miro Etchings & Lithographs

Currently, we are exhibiting the portfolio of Joan Miro Lithographs from "Ubu Roi" published in 1966 by french publisher Antoine Teriade. These are from the small unsigned edtion of 180. They are all beautifully custom framed by our frame shop and are avialable for sale. Newly arrived, a Joan Miro etching and aquatint which is from 1976 called "Pi De Formentor". It is quite large measuring 39" x 35" unframed and it is signed and numbered 4/50 by Joan Miro.

Andy Warhol Lithographs & Prints

We have been selling our Warhol Prints quickly but we have a few screenprints left from various portfolios. This screenprint is called " The Kick" from the "Martha Graham" portfolio published in 1986 by Martha Graham. This is from the edition of 100 hand signed and numbered by Andy Warhol

Henri Matisse Lithographs
