Original Hand Signed Marc Chagall Lithographs

Femme au Bouquet (Woman with Flowers) was engraved by Charles Sorlier in 1967 under Marc Chagall's direct supervision. This gorgeous lithograph was published as part of Nice and Cote d'Azur, Chagall's salute to the Mediterranean. The water, sun, and quality of life on the Mediterranean coast revived, renewed and inspired Marc Chagall. The warm, vibrant colors in Femme au Bouquet, as well as it's themes of serenity, reflect Chagall's fondness for the region. Femme Au Bouquet is hand signed by Marc Chagall in the lower right corner and numbered LXI/LXXV (61/75) in the lower left. Pictured above is the original Pierre-Auguste Renoir etching Etude Pour une Baigneuse (2nd State). This delicate portrait was published by Vollard in 1918 in an edition of 1000. Renoir's signature was applied with a a stamp in the bottom right corner, as referenced in Delete No. 16. This etching measures 12" x 14" unframed and 21" x 23" framed. $7,750

Pictured above is an original hand signed lithograph entitled Portrait of Mlle. Marguerite Matisse. This endearing etching is a heartfelt rendering of Matisse's daughter, Marguerite. This etching was printed 1920 by Jacquemin, and is number 91 from an edition of 1,000. As referenced in Duthuit No. 2, it is hand signed in ink by Matisse in the lower right.
