At Georgetown Frame Shoppe our goal is to offer rare original lithographs, etchings, pochoirs and linocuts at under market value prices. We strive to provide exceptional customer service and hope that all of our clients are satisfied and continue to utilize our services for many years to come.

Georgetown Frame Shoppe is an owner run and operated, small business  We keep our overhead low for our lovely yet modest store front in a privately owned building in historic Georgetown, D.C.  The art galleries in New York, California, Hawaii, London, Paris and Munich are gorgeous and spacious.  However, the price of the art they sell reflects their high rents and operating costs.  

We pride ourselves on acquiring and selling fine art at exceptional values. We work on small margins and do not inflate prices with sales commission.   Unlike other galleries, we do not "mark up to mark down". We don't have "50% off sales" because we offer great deals everyday. 

Our twenty years of experience has given us access to private collections around the world and our selective focus and extensive experience allows us a great level of expertise.  We are passionate about the works of art we sell, and the histories, techniques, and stories behind them.

We believe in open, honest relationships with our clients and practice a policy of full disclosure. We personally authenticate all of our artwork and stand behind every piece we sell.  The Certificates of Authenticity that we issue with every art purchase guarantee authenticity and contain detailed information about the artwork such as the medium, printer, publisher, and edition size. We also provide our clients with copies of the pages from the Catalogue Raisonne referencing the particular work. We want our clients to know exactly what they are buying. 

As our name suggests, The Georgetown Frame Shoppe is also a state of the art frame shop.  We handle precious and delicate artwork everyday with the utmost care.  We do not source out our framing.  All of the work is done on the premises to ensure the superior quality of the materials and craftsmanship.  Please browse our website to view examples of our quality custom framing.
